First of all, let me preface this with, I was disappointed they were made in China, as all my prior pieces I have owned for years were made in England.

But, that aside, these plates are wonderful, well colored, and fit in nicely with my other Friendly Village Buffet Plates.

No breakage in shipping on these. And, the are great pieces. If you like the patterns like this (Castles, etc), You would undoubtedly enjoy the Friendly Village pattern.
Customer Review: Was not packed properly; dishes broke
The plates I ordered were exactly what I expected. However, they were shipped to me without any protective packaging — just a box of dishes dropped into a cardboard box that wasn’t even marked “fragile”. Almost half the order was broken — shattered, actually — when they arrived (the miracle is that they all weren’t broken). Since this was a Christmas gift, it was inconvenient, to say the least.
