Rug looks great, especially for the price. The (rubber? plastic?) underside emits a serious odor, though - you’ll want to air it out in a garage, porch, or other covered outdoor space beforehand if possible.

What a terrific bargain and beautiful rug. One tip, please air out the rug for several days before placing it in the house. The plastic protective packaging has a terrible chemical smell to it.
